Ionised Water
Ionised Water is not only the best water you can possibly drink, but it is the best substance you can put in your body. Ionised Water is electronically enhanced water created through the process of electrolysis. Water runs over positive and negative electrodes, which ionises the minerals in the water and creates positive and negative ions that are then separated. The electrodes are composed of titanium, the strongest metal known, and coated with platinum which is durable and an excellent conductor. The membrane between the electrodes is composed of complex polymers. Ionised water comes about when the membrane separates the hydroxyl (-) ~ hydrogen (+) ions, thus creating alkaline and acidic water. Alkaline water has an abundance of hydroxyl ions, acid water an abundance hydrogen ions. These two waters are produced simultaneously due to the ionisation process of a water ionise and are expelled from t different tubes in a volume ratio of 70% Alkaline Water to 30% A Water. Producing one litre of Ionised Water yields 70% Alkalised Water and 30% Acid Water.
Consumption of Ionised Water is critical if we wish to bring our bodies into homeostasis or balance. Ionised Water, once you've become acclimated to it is very simply the cheapest, simplest and most effective form of healthcare there is. Ionised Water is negatively charged and alive with electrolytes which our bodies are starved for. Along with its alkalizing and hydrating properties, Ionised Water is a liquid antioxidant, making it the best substance we can put in our body.
About Water Ionizers
If you don't already have one, the best time to get a water ionizer is right now. Most Water Ionizers will attach to any faucet in your house, but can also be hard-plumbed in. They cost from $500 to $1500 depending on the model, but all you need to look for in an ionizor is that it can produce water to a pH of 9.5 or more. They are about the size of a toaster and take up very little counter space or can be hung on the wall or even inside a kitchen cabinet. They are easily fitted to a domestic water system, ours happen to be installed when we rebuilt our house but they can certainly be installed at any time.
Ionised Water & Exercise
Since I began drinking Ionised Water, it has provided me with an overall increase in stamina and recovery time while exercising. It is especially noticeable during and after strenuous cardiovascular activity such as rowing. My stamina has increased 25 - 30% and my recover time has decreased a proportional amount. In the past, pushing hard on a thirty minute row would leave me with sore, tight muscles an maybe even aching knees the next day. This never happens now because the accumulated acid waste has been washed from my join and muscle tissue by Ionised Water. I am also far more limber than I was before I began drinking Ionised Water, thus it much easier for me to complete my full range of yoga exercises.
The body operates most efficiently when it is alkalized, properly hydrated and its tissue is free of toxins. Minor Ailments
Colds and flues have completely disappeared from my life since I began drinking Ionised Water. If I do feel any symptoms coming on, I find that drinking a few extra glasses of Ionised Water quickly puts it at bay by hydrating and alkalizing my body so it I can fight the infection. No disease thrives in an alkaline environment.
Mental Function
Since brain tissue and cranial fluids are always sufficiently hydrated when drinking ionised water you think more clearly. Much of the oxygen Ionised Water produces will be used by the brain which is often deprived of oxygen. Thus, the clarity of thought processes improves, as do both memory and analytical functions. The body will do anything the brain tells it to so if the brain, adulterated by the toxins of a cooked-food diet, is sending out the wrong chemical messages then the body malfunctions. While we need to alkalize, hydrate and detoxify the body to Achieve Great Health, it is even more important that we do the same for the brain.
Brain material itself is like a sponge soaking up anything that passes through it. Toxins and other unwanted substances such as trans-fats.
Its cling to the material that composes the brain and over time diminishes the capacity of its neurotransmitters to function properly. A dehydrated brain is even more susceptible to toxicity, brain chemicals such as serotonin, dopamine and endorphins are either over-produced or under-produced causing misfires in the brain's synapses that can lead to a host of neurological problems ranging from schizophrenia, dementia and even Alzheimer's disease. An elderly person with a lifetime of toxins accumulated in the brain is quite susceptible to these neurological diseases, which is why more than half of people over age 85 fall victim to one or a combination of these dementia-related, senility diseases. An alkalized, hydrated brain produces various neurotransmitters in the correct amount and at the right time so that the brain functions properly. The best way to flush these toxins out of the brain is with Ionised Water because of its incredible hydration properties. Many raw foods have natural chemical substances with detoxification properties that are also beneficial to the brain such as chlorophyll – which is why chlorella and spirulina are such effective detoxifies.
Starting On Ionised Water
People who are in good physical condition won't have any problems adjusting to Ionised Water. Those who have a poor diet and do not exercise will need to proceed wit the change over to ionised water carefully. Water ionises have various levels of strength so you can begin drinking it at a weak level (pH 7.6 - 8.0) and then increase as you become acclimated to it (pH 9.5 - 9.9). However, when Ionised Water first purges the digestive tract, it quickly forces out toxins, which can temporarily cause diarrhoea, rashes, fatigue and other detoxification symptoms. The more toxins that have accumulated in the body, the more profound the effects of Ionised water.
Begin by consuming one glass (250ml) of Ionised Water at the weakest level you unit will produce, probably about 8.0. Wait a couple hours and see if you begin to have any detoxification symptoms such as headaches, rashes, diarrhoea and/or fatigue. When we detoxify, we are healing but if it becomes too unpleasant reduce the amounts of water being consumed and extend the time frame a little. You can also dilute a glass of ionised water with some ordinary water.
Drink the glasses of diluted Ionised Water for one week then return to drinking straight Ionised Water on level one and see if any of the detoxification symptoms return. If they don't, slowly begin increasing the strength of the water day by day until you have reached the highest pH level that should be consumed, which is 9.9. Of the Ionised Water that I consume, I drink as much of it as I can at pH 9.9.
If you don't have any detoxification symptoms on the lower ionisation levels (pH 7.5 -- 8.0), then go to the higher levels and drink as much Ionised Water as you can each and everyday. Never drink water around mealtime. Other than that let water should rule your day.
The Effects Of Drinking Ionised Water
The first thing that Ionised Water does to the body when a person begins drinking it is flush out the digestive tract, which is the best place for detoxification to start. This cleansing alone will significantly improve your potential for better health. The body cannot take in nutrients if the digestive tract is not clean. Enzymes continue their chemical attack on the food to break it down throughout the digestive process until it is small enough to pass through the lining of the small intestine and into the blood. Once there, the nutrients are carried away to the liver and other body parts to be processed, stored and distributed. None of this happens if the digestive tract is not clean and clear, and there is nothing like modern processed foods to clog the digestive tract.
Living on a cooked-food diet over a long period of time creates a layer of mucous throughout the digestive tract known as mucoid plaque, which deposits on the intestines where nutrients are absorbed into the body. Mucoid plaque is a dark greenish substance that has the consistency of rubber. As it becomes thicker over the years we develop nutritional deficiencies even though we eat three meals a day that we believe are healthy. Our intestines become museums of partially digested, putrefying foods, drugs and other toxins that have never found their way out of the body. The intestines can swell to many times its size with only a pencil-size opening for faeces to pass through. Even though we may be overeating, we are starving ourselves under these conditions because the body cannot absorb nutrients. Eating should never be confused with health. Many parents believe that as long as their child is eating, they are healthy and this certainly is not the case.
All that matters when it comes to health is what foods and the quality of them that we put in our body, not the frequency or quantity.
Hydrating & Cleansing: If your small intestines are not clean and the actual lining wall isn't exposed, nutrients cannot get into the blood stream to be used by the body. Ionised Water is a terrific cleanser of the digestive tract because of its small water molecule clusters. It penetrates the mucoid plaque that is attached to the intestinal lining helping to remove it; once the surface of the lining is clean, the water then penetrates the lining itself to further cleanse and hydrate it so nutrients can pass into the blood with greater ease. When this happens, assimilation of nutrients to the body returns and the early stages of cellular rejuvenation can begin.
People comment how often they have to go to the bathroom when they first start drinking Ionised Water. This is because the water is cleansing your digestive tract quite thoroughly. It will subside once your body becomes accustomed to drinking Ionised Water.
Alkalizing: Drinking Ionised Water reduces the body's acid level as it balances the body's overall pH, which is not measured through the blood, but through the urine or saliva. However, raising the overall body pH will most likely take some time. Acid waste does not accumulate throughout the body overnight and it will not be flushed out overnight. Years of accumulated acid waste in the joints, around the organs, in the brain and throughout the body takes months and even years to completely expunge. As to how quickly you will rid the body of acid waste will of course also depend on your diet.

produced when water is run over positive and negative electrodes and there is a shift of electrons from one molecule to another. This hydroxyl ion has an oxygen molecule that carries an extra electron which is donated to a free radical in the body, therefore it is considered a free radical scavenger. What remains are two stable oxygen molecules and a higher blood oxygen level instead of only one free radical that will cause damage.
Consuming Ionised Water bathes the interior of the body in a negatively charged liquid, which promotes rejuvenation of each bodily system at a cellular level. All fresh raw foods also have a negative charge or ORP. Fresh squeezed orange juice carries a negative ORP of -50 to -300 ORP (m/-l). The lower the negative number, the better it is for the body; the higher the positive number, the worse it is. On average, chlorinated city water has a positive +700 ORP, thus it is quite oxidising and should never be consumed.
Anything that is being oxidised, or has the potential to oxides another substance, has a positive ORP. Our bodies are constantly being attacked by oxidation in the form of free radicals; the older we are, the higher our body's ORP becomes. When we drink negatively charged substances such as Ionised Water, this oxidation is retarded and our body's cells are in a better position to rejuvenate, or de-age, themselves.

Water has a low atomic weight (18) and when ionised through electrolysis, it becomes the most absorbable antioxidant known. Essentially, we are reversing the aging process. However, we do not become younger in chronological years rather, we possess the ability we had when we were in our twenties at a cellular level.
